The University of Florence fosters cooperation with academic and research institutions all over the world and welcomes foreign professors, researchers and students in order to promote cultural and scientific internationalization. To this end, the University, through its structures - Departments and Schools - promotes the hospitality of highly qualified teachers, researchers and scholars and students from abroad.

 

Services for foreign guests - Welcome Service

The Welcome Service office offers support to foreign visitors who are guests of the University to carry out academic and scientific activities in their search for accommodation in the city.

The Welcome Service can make reservations at affiliated university residences and other accommodation facilities in the area. It also provides information on subsidized accommodation and online platforms.

The city of Florence

Florence is the capital of Tuscany, located on the banks of the river Arno, in the central-northern part of the Italian peninsula.
