They contribute to the development of academic research by carrying out research activities in the field related to their hiring contract. They produce research papers, essays and academic articles. They carry out teaching activities both in class and e-learning modes and support students at all levels of their academic careers, within their field of expertise. The contracts have a minimum duration of 18 months and a maximum of 5 years. Technologists carry out support activity to research both at technical and administrative levels. In particular, they perform tasks of high technical and professional content within the framework of the University's research activities following the directives given by the research manager or by the head of the structure. They also carry out administrative tasks strictly connected to the management of the research projects they are involved in. There are two different levels: the first level technologist for which the possession of a master's degree is required, as well as a particular professional qualification and the second level technologist for which possession of a bachelor or equivalent degree is required as well as a particular professional qualification. Consult the open calls Research Grants The research grant is a collaboration established between a University and a scholar with the specific aim of conducting research activities. It has a minimum duration of twelve months and a maximum of six years. During this period, the research fellow carries out research work on the topics set out in the selection announcement, under the supervision of the designated faculty, retaining at the same time a certain degree of autonomy. The admission pre-requisite is to hold a post-graduate degree obtained in Italy or equivalent title. Applicants can also qualify if they have a doctorate degree from a foreign university, to which they need to attach a professional curriculum that demonstrates their ability them to carry out research.
