University Quality Assurance Presidium (PQA)

Institution, tasks and responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Presidium supervises the performance of the University Quality Assurance (QA) procedures based on the guidelines formulated by the University Bodies, ensuring the management of internal and external information flows and supporting the action of the structures.

It exercises functions of accompanying, supporting and implementing QA policies for training and research, promotes the culture of quality, carries out surveillance and monitoring activities, promotes continuous improvement and supports the University structures in the management of quality processes.

It organizes information/training activities for personnel in various capacities involved in QA processes and internal auditing on the organization of training and research, organizes and supervises further initiatives on the implementation of quality policies, related to training activities and research.

The Presidium's interlocutors within the University are the University Bodies for consultancy functions and the teaching and research structures (Degree Programmes, Departments and any connecting structures) for the functions of surveillance, monitoring, promotion of continuous improvement and support for the organisation of QA procedures.
